Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AssetFilm, operated by Cobra Designs Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

AssetFilm is a web application that renders cinematic product videos from 3D asset files (GLB / GLTF) you provide. We operate a render farm to produce these videos and deliver them to you as downloadable MP4 files.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address when registering. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@assetfilm.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

3. Credits and payment

Rendering consumes credits from your account balance. Credit costs are shown before you confirm each render:

• 720p — 10 credits per shot
• 1080p — 15 credits per shot
• 4K — 30 credits per shot

Free credits are issued at sign-up and may be refreshed periodically. Free credits render at 720p with an AssetFilm watermark. Paid credits render at 1080p Cycles with no watermark.

Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where a render fails due to a fault on our side (see Section 5). All prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes you may owe in your jurisdiction.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service.

4. Your content and IP warranty

You retain ownership of any 3D assets you upload. By uploading an asset you warrant that:

• You own or are licensed to use the asset for commercial rendering purposes.
• The asset does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• The asset does not contain unlawful material.

We do not claim any ownership over your assets or the rendered output. We process your assets solely to provide the service.

5. Render failures

If a render job fails due to an error on our infrastructure, we will refund the credits charged for that job to your account. We will not refund credits for jobs that fail because the uploaded asset does not meet the format requirements (invalid geometry, unsupported materials, file corruption, etc.).

6. Acceptable use

You may not use AssetFilm to:

• Upload assets containing illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
• Use automated scripts to create accounts or submit jobs at a rate that degrades service for other users.

7. Storage limits

Free accounts are subject to a storage limit for uploaded assets. The current limit is displayed in your account. We may delete assets that exceed the limit after giving you reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

AssetFilm is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Render quality depends on the quality of the 3D asset you provide.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cobra Designs Studio’s total liability to you for any claim arising from use of AssetFilm is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
